I wouldnt call it blackened death but it certainly has the bleak dark atmosphere akin to Akhlys or Watain while pummeling you with pure death metal and a touch of dissonance and doominess á la Morbid Angel..it really combines almost everything i love about metal and theres not a weak spot on here..their first album was good but this is stylistically much different and a vast improvement. Great Newer Old School Death Metal Band, I initially heard this album as the split with Crematory Stench, but I'm glad they issued this separately as a stand alone release. Derek Witt
I'm kicking my own ass for somehow missing this when it released. Expertly arranged death metal with kick drums that could demolish a high-rise. zirtonic
A grand display that's equally gorgeous and grotesque! Churning, writhing rhythms lay the groundwork for caustic, venomous vocals and discordant melodies that remind me of a death metal version of Blut Aus Nord. One of 2023's best metal albums! Turd Ferguson
